Runic monuments are considered as an example of the material embodiment of the Age of Vikings, public art and Historical Memory. The Scandinavian runic stones of the Age of Vikings are eyewitnesses of existence of Viking trade, mini-narratives about landscape of the Age of Vikings and an introduction of Christianity.
